How many servings should participants aim for each day?

Men and women and boys and girls of various ages require different servings of vegetables and fruits each day. Below are recommendations made by Eating Well with Canada's Food Guide. Try to consume the recommended servings or more throughout this challenge.

  • Girls and Boys (4-8 years): 5 servings/day
  • Girls and Boys (9-13 years): 6 servings/day
  • Females (14-18 years): 7 servings/day
  • Males (14-18 years): 8 servings/day
  • Females (19-50 years): 7 - 8 servings/day
  • Males (19-50 years): 8 - 10 servings/day
  • Females and Males (51+): 7 servings/day
